Biwott wants to be a senator

National Vision Party leader Nicholas Biwott is eyeing a seat in the Senate once the new law is implemented.
"Under the new Constitution, more political positions have been created. I feel the seat of the Senate fits me," Biwot told a gathering during a harambee at Kimwarer in Keiyo-South District.
The former Keiyo South MP has been holding rallies in Elgeyo-Marakwet County, where he is expected to contest for the new position.
The NVP leader said his party would stick to democratic ideals and respect for elected leaders. "We should forge for unity if tangible development is to be achieved," said Biwot.
