A letter purported to have been written by ODM Secretary General Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o to the International Criminal Court titled HATE SPEECH, REQUESTING YOUR URGENT ATTENTION is in circulation.
The letter, bearing Prof. Nyong’o’s signature has been send to newsrooms by some characters whose intention is to spoil the good name of ODM.
ODM has not and is not willing to write to the ICC or Mr. Luis Moreno-Ocampo over anything as the said letter purports.
Prof. Nyong’o who is currently in the US attending a UN conference on Health issued a press release from New York where he denounced the letter which is dated 5th of April 2011.

I would like to bring public attention to a letter circulating under my name as Secretary General of the ODM and addressed to Moreno Ocampo.
I am currently in New York, having arrived here on Sunday for a UN meeting.
At no time have I, or any other party official, written such a poorly scripted letter to Hon. Ocampo.
This forgery should be dismissed with the contempt it deserves.
