Our moles tell us that a woman staffer reportedly from the Kenyan Embassy delivered cheques to offset the bills incurred in the various hotels where the MPs and others in the Ocampo Six entourage were staying.

The affability between Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and his newfound ally William Ruto may just be a facade hiding what some are saying are growing tensions between their supporters. The Ruto supporters are quietly unhappy with the way their man seems to be playing second fiddle to Uhuru in the recent public rallies held in Central, Eastern and in Nairobi yesterday. They claim that Uhuru's supporters have been claiming that Uhuru is the presidential candidate and Ruto will be his running mate and yet this has not be discussed and decided.

A vocal MP from Central Kenya was forced to throw several rounds of drinks in a well known hotel in a bid to buy the patrons' silence. Reason? The man walked into the bar accompanied by two young women. Everyone in the bar turned to look at him as he is known to be married and neither of the two young women is his wife. The legislator seemed to be embarrassed by being caught out and offered everyone present several rounds of drink as he pleaded with them not to tell anyone they had seen him with his "baggage".

Five months after they invigilated the KCSE examinations, some high school teachers are yet to be paid their allowances. The teachers are now accusing some officials at TSC of receiving the cash and putting it in fixed deposits accounts to earn interest before finally remitting it to the teachers after pocketing the interest earned. The teachers are now threatening to expose the officials involved.
