The man's bad manners of issuing bouncing cheques caught up with him when auctioneers raided his Nairobi home. The auctioneers were out to recover millions of shillings the man owes debtors. Our mole says the fellow is under pressure from his family to return the household goods.

Corridors has learnt that the son of a Member of Parliament was engaged in a bar brawl at Hurlingham in Nairobi at the weekend. The MP's son was beaten up and robbed by a group of guards at a nightclub. The young man reported the matter to the police. The fly on the wall heard that the nightclub management are trying to interfere with the case.

Politicians backing the ICC process at the Hague are sharing humorous text messages about the political alliance some of the Ocampo Six want to establish for the 2012 general election. One of the text messages reads: "In keeping with naming political parties after events or slogans, the new political party for the Hague guests should be, Ocampo party of Unity/Kenya or the Hague Pioneering Party of Kenya. Better still, Anti Odinga Party of Kenya (AOPAKE)."

A former MP from the PNU side yesterday called another former MP from ODM side asking him to kaza kamba on the planned ODM rally at Uhuru Park. Reason, so that the planning committee of the Ocampo Six homecoming party can increase the budget given to each constituency in Nairobi from half a million to five million bob each.

The Prime Minister's Press Service (PMPS) yesterday sent a press dispatch to KBC stating the whereabouts of Prime Minister Raila Odinga. The dispatch stated that the PM was accompanied by among others Foreign Affairs Minister Prof George Saitoti. But we are informed that Saitoti is in town and not in New York with the PM. Was it a typographical error by the PMPS?
