The Kirima saga intensified on Wednesday after the family of the former MP's first wife forced their way into his Kitisuru home, to prepare a cleansing ceremony for the home and family.
The 'first' family accused their father's third wife Teresia Wairimu of using uncouth methods to have a hold on their father. As the family feud rages on, the veteran politician remains at the Nairobi hospital -and the current Mrs Kirima has not been allowed to see him.
Mrs Kirima was not at home during the 'raid', but arrived later. She is accused of having mistreated her husband, and vehemently denies that there is any truth in this. Not only is she distressed by her exclusion from her husband's hospital room, but also by suspicions that her life might be in danger.
After successfully taking their father to hospital, Mr Kirima's children are now considering withdrawing legal cases they had previously filed against their father.
