IIEC Final Results

The Interim Independent Electoral Commission released the final results of the just concluded referendum exercise from all the 210 constituencies. In the final tally, the yes side got 6,092,593 votes which represented 67 per cent of the total votes cast, while those who were opposing the proposed constitution secured 2,795,059 votes which representing 30.1%. Results from 3 constituencies Sirisia, Turkana Central and Narok South that had not been incorporated were finally tallied. Chris Thairu reports
