27th August Preparations

The Kenyan nation strode into a new chapter of the country's history when voters ratified the new constitution on the 4th of august ... and that new dawn in Kenya's history will be officially ushered in at a ceremony at the historic Uhuru Park that promises to be a festivity of pomp and colour. Preparations are already underway as top military officials lead by chief of general staff Jeremiah Kianga, prepare for the promulgation of the constitution come Friday august 27th. Willis Raburu reports on preparations for Kenya's date with destiny.
