Selling the message


To the campaign trail and rallies for or against the proposed constitution continued, with the two opposing sides traversing various parts of the country. In Kapkatet, the No side gave new conditions to their Yes counterparts in resolving existing constitutional differences, before the document was subjected to referendum. The team, led by higher education minister William Ruto, said they were ready to enter into negotiation with their opponents, only if the contentious issues were addressed. The Yes team meanwhile, continued with its campaigns, riding on the latest opinion poll boost. Jane kiyo reports.
