Shilling holds steady to the dollar

The Kenyan shilling is relatively stable against the US dollar, even as end month demand for dollars piles more pressure on the shilling.
The shilling is exchanging at an indicative rate of 102.39 buying, 102.59 selling to the dollar.
It is trading at 110.86 buying, 111.11 selling to the euro and at 159.68 buying, 160.02 selling to the sterling Pound.
Regionally, the home currency is exchanging at 7.19 buying, 7.27 selling to the Rwandese franc, 21.05 buying, 21.19 selling to the Tanzanian shilling and at 32.42 buying, 32.58 selling to the Ugandan shilling.
