The Secretary General of the Kenya Professional Boxing Commission Franklin Imbenzi today presented the Rt Hon Raila Odinga with the Commonwealth title belt ahead of tonight’s contest to be held at the Nyayo National Stadium indoor gym.
The Prime Minister has been a consistent supporter of the youth and sports serving as the Patron of Gor Mahia Football Club among several others. He mentored and supported David Rudisha in the early stages of his international athletics career over and above offering various incentives to the national football team Harambee Stars over time.
He wished all the contestants the best of luck ahead of tonight’s matches.
