Kenyan father passes away in a Baltimore Hospital

Benard NdwaraIt is with deep pain and sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Bernard Ndwara of Seme Korango, Kenya, that occurred at Sinai Hospital, Baltimore (MD) after a long battle with multiple illnesses.

Mr. Ndwara arrived in the US in 2007 and soon after within 2 days was admitted to Sinai Hospital; he suffered a heart attack that left him with many medical complications. Furthermore, while rehabilitating at Levindale Rehab facility in Baltimore, he was diagnosed with cancer.  On July 6th. 2015  he suffered a fatal cardiac arrest and was promoted to be with the Lord.

Mr. Ndwara was husband to Loyce Achieng’, father to Evans, Allan, Beline, Lydia, Collins and the late Alfred.  He was brother in law to Milka, Alice, Betty and Esther amongst others. He was also a relative to Omullo Okowa (Baltimore, MD), who was his host.

His body is currently at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Home in Baltimore. The family invites friends and relatives to a fundraiser and prayer event to help transport the body to its final resting place in Seme, Kenya.
