Jubilee meeting over Duale’s ouster

By Too Jared, Citizen Digital

Jubilee to meet over Duale
Members of Parliament from the Jubilee Coalition have called for an urgent meeting following threats by a section of MPs from Central Kenya to oust National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale.
Led by The National Alliance (TNA) party executive director Joseph Mathai, the MPs say the move threatens the stability of the ruling coalition and must be mitigated at the earliest stage possible.
Speaking at Ragati Primary school in Karatina after donating shoes to primary school kids, Mr. Mathai said the meeting will iron out differences between the jubilee legislators; differences they say may bring down the ruling coalition.
The director, however, warned TNA officials at the county levels against repainting offices with Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) colours while those who have defected will also face a disciplinary action.
The Jubilee coalition is made up of several political parties with TNA and the United Republican Party (URP) being the main parties.
