Martha Karua and Peter Kenneth shocked many yesterday by joining Cord in pushing for a referendum. In Parliament TNA MPs discussed the development and warned their colleagues not to dismiss Cord because it is "talking the people's language". The lawmakers are now planning to ask their party leaders to act.

Why did First Lady Margaret Kenyatta not travel to the United States with President Uhuru. The city has been awash with the rumours with some people saying she was not happy with some of the people who traveled with the head of state.

An MP from Kisumu county and another from Busia shocked rugby fans during the Safaricom-sponsored Dala Sevens tournament at the weekend . They were drunk and ended up kissing two skimpily dressed young girls at the VIP section repeatedly, oblivious of their surroundings. At one time the MP from Kisumu known for his strong support for ODM was seen reaching out to his colleague’s girl as the man went to the gents.

A Rift Valley lawmaker could not believe his eyes on Sunday last week when he visited his former girlfriend in Nairobi's eastlands. The first time MP had decided to pay her "a courtesy call" but on entering the house he found that the calender which had his 2013 campaign pictures was no longer hanging on the wall. Instead that of his colleague in the TNA wing of the Jubilee coalition had replaced it. The MP was seen leaving the house with the shopping he had brought his girlfriend frantically struggled to explain the 'replacement'.
