Did Eugene Wamalwa make a Call to President Uhuru over appointments ?

If there is someone who is committed to frustrate the Luhyas in the Jubilee government, then Ruto  has been a startling success. Ask any Luhya politician and they will confirm to you that Ruto is the Stumbling block. Last time we analysed Why Ruto is Frustrating the Luhya community and the facts stated there still remain valid.

Ruto is aware that he will die politically if the Jubilee government accomodates any ambitious Luhya politicians. The war between the Luhya politicians and Ruto has now intensified and plans to silence both sides are being hatched. President Uhuru made some appointments but Eugene Wamalwa’s name was missing yet he had been promised an appointment by president Uhuru Kenyatta.

President Uhuru Kenyatta wants to bring the Luhyas on board but the problem is William Ruto who feels threatened. He has completely stopped all moves to bring Luhyas on board and this has become a great political hurdle to Uhuru’s political kitchen that wants Luhyas on board since they are not assured of Ruto’s support come 2017.

After the appointments, It is alleged Eugene Wamalwa made a desperate call to state house asking why his name was missing. According to sources withing State house, the president told him to come over so that they can deliberate on the issue. Things are thick but Uhuru is taking all cautions to avoid any division within the Jubilee alliance but as time erodes, he may start showing his true colors by bringing Luhyas on board for the sake of 2017 .
