Who leaked information to the media about Interior Minister Joseph ole Lenku signing work permits to a terror suspect? We are told that some people in his ministry gave the information to one of the media houses to instigate the minister's removal, hours after President Uhuru announced the departure of NIS boss Michael Gichangi.

It was a classic example of a man preaching water and drinking wine when a well-known policeman notorious for asking Kenyans to avoid drink driving did exactly that at the weekend. The man went on a drinking spree and decided to drive himself home. But since he had taken one too many, he lost control of his car, which veered off the road and ended up in a trench. Because the man was so inebriated, he fell asleep in the car only to be rescued by his juniors, who were on patrol. You can guess the awkwardness that followed!

Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission chair Mumo Matemu shocked guests at a wedding reception at St Austins Academy when he declined an offer to speak. We are told the man was livid following an "overdose" of political speeches that had preceded his invitation to the podium. He was later overheard complaining to the groom that he may be forced to avoid social events if hosts do not restrain their guests: ''Even a wedding, surely? I thought after taking over funerals, politicians would be content with the many avenues they have," he was overheard telling the groom.

Last week, we told you of a Kisumu county executive who is so generous with her body that she has now been nicknamed "county open".  We are now told that there is another "county open" in Elgeyo Marakwet and this one is a public officer with big responsibilities. The officer has become so generous, especially when she is drunk, that young men have resorted to following her around to enjoy the "goods" when the woman is intoxicated. Recently, youths waiting on her to get drunk were seen betting on who between them should carry the day.
