The Judicial Service Commission has appointed Kakai Kissinger as the acting Chief Registrar of the Judiciary following the sacking of Ms Gladys Shollei from the position.
According to a statement signed by Chief Justice Willy Mutunga the JSC made the decision to appoint Kakai following a meeting held yesterday (Wednesday).
Kakai is currently the Deputy Chief Registrar, a position he was appointed to in December 2011. Former Chief Registrar Gladys Shollei was sacked from the position on Friday last week over allegations of financial impropriety.
