RUTO’s URP aspirants vow to support RAILA’s ODM if ….




Sunday February 10, 2013-United Republican Party (URP) aspirants in Nakuru County have sensationally stated that they will support Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), if the on-going TNA / URP differences are not addressed in the vote rich County.

Addressing a press conference in a Nakuru hotel on Saturday, the aspirants asked URP party leader William Ruto to urgently meet party officials and candidates to resolve the stalemate.

“We want Ruto to address the issues raised after breach in the agreement with TNA,”the aspirants resolved

The aspirants claimed that TNA disregarded a deal to share seats and went ahead to field candidates in all positions in Nakuru County.

“The Nakuru Accord was framed by former MPs and after a meeting at Oloika Lodge in Nakuru we agreed to field aspirants in areas with URP support,” chairman of URP in Nakuru county Julius Rotich said.

They vowed if the differences are not settled amicably they will dump Jubilee coalition for CORD alliance.
