Sunday February 10, 2013 - Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi has said Prime Minister Raila Odinga is a dishonest leader and he should not be elected as the fourth President of the Republic of Kenya.
Addressing his supporters in Garsen, Tana River district on Saturday, the DPM accused Raila Odinga of playing politics of hatred with the land issue.
Mudavadi said the land matter is so emotive as it is the one that caused 2007-08 post election violence where 1133 people died and over 650,000 displaced.
Mudavadi, who is also the Amani coalition’s Presidential flag bearer, told Tana River residents that they should not take seriously pronouncement that a President will have power to solve land issues in the country
He said the Constitution is clear on how matters of historical injustices, including land should be handled.
The DPM also urged voters to be wary of “false prophets” who their main aim is to polarise the country before the March 4th general election.
