Thursday January 10,2013 - Two MP associated with The National Alliance (TNA) party have warned Presidential candidates campaigning in Meru region, saying the region is a TNA zone and they should keep off the region.
In what can be seen as a reply to one time Ntonyiri and Kanu stalwart Maoka Maore who recently asserted that the Meru community will throw their weight behind Coalition for Reform and Democracy( CORD) flag bearer Prime Minister Raila Odinga ,Education assistant Minister Dr Kiremi Mwiria and MP Silas Muriuki said the entire Meru community will vote for Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta.
The two leaders said they will make sure that the region votes as a bloc for Uhuru, expressing confidence that the next government will be a Jubilee government.
