Trick That Saved Harun Mwau's Life

"He reached for his pockets and out came a bundle of crisp notes, which he threw far away from the chopper..."

Kilome MP, John Harun Mwau may be accused of everything but at least he is a quick thinker, especially where his life is at stake. The MP was confronted by a very hostile mob in Kasayani Village, and his bodyguards moved him into a kiosk for safety. The people however continued to push and the kiosk failed to protect him any more.

Mwau's chopper was just close by and all he need was a quick, shielded run. His bodyguards sandwiched him as he dashed into the chopper, whose rotors were already running. The crowd however continued to close in and had to re-strategize. He reached for his pockets and out came a bundle of crisp notes, which he threw far away from the chopper. The trick worked because nearly everyone rushed for the money abandoning their primary target. The few who did not forsake the mission were defeated by the dust blown by the rotating blades.

Mwau's chopper had landed at Kisayani Secondary School grounds, where a Wiper party parliamentary aspirant was hosting a function. On arrival at the dais, the 'Boss' was approached by three men who pushed him, shouting that he was not invited since he was from a different party. This only served to incite the crowd, which joined in driving him away, chanting 'Wiper! Wiper!. His bodyguards led him to a nearby kiosk, but the crowd wanted him gone completely. They started demolishing it, before the mp found his way out, to his waiting chopper.
