Major General Hussein Ali Sh 200 Million Mansion

7 En-Suite Bedrooms, Each With A Walk-In Wardrobe.

It seems being the Police Commissioner and later Post Master General pays well. Major General Hussein Ali, built what has been termed as one of the priciest homes in Kenya. The 20,000 square feet mansion is built on a 3 acre piece of land in Karen, Nairobi.

The compound is expansive, with a 50 metre drive way, from the main gate to the parking bay. Behind the main house are twin houses for the domestic staff. The entire compound is covered with superbly maintained green grass and some occasional flowers.
Inside the mansion, you'll find numerous entertainment rooms, a prayer room and two living rooms. There is also a family room on the first floor. This piece of property comes with 7 bedrooms, each of which is fitted with a floor to ceiling walk-in wardrobe, in addition to being en-suite.

The mansion was put up for sale last year, with a tag of sh 200 million. It however failed to attract serious buyers and is now no longer available, since Ali is moving in.
