Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his two deputies Musalia Mudavadi and Uhuru Kenyatta  step up their campaigns this weekend.
Raila, will this morning launch the ODM Mashinani campaign team for Nairobi at the KICC before flying to Kilogoris for a rally in the afternoon.
On Saturday, the PM will be in Narok town before retreating to Nairobi where he will end his weekend at Dandora for an ODM rally.
Uhuru will be at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani in Nairobi this morning where he will address thousands of aspirants seeking the TNA ticket to contest for various seats.
On Saturday he will be in Ngong to attend the homecoming party of newly-elected Kajiado North MP Moses Sakuda. DPM Mudavadi will be in his Sabatia constituency on Saturday before returning to Nairobi where he will chair a UDF strategy meeting on Sunday.
Eldoret North MP William Ruto heads to Mombasa for a rally at the Tononoka grounds. Yesterday, Uhuru received a boost for his presidential bid as President Kibaki's PNU  formally sealed a pact that saw the party switching from its blue colour for TNA's red colour.
The DPM, who is the Gatundu South MP, was present as PNU chairman Gideon Konchellah and TNA counterpart Johnson Sakaja signed the pact at the PNU headquarters.
The deal means that PNU will not field candidates in next year's general election with those aspiring for the seats set to apply for TNA membership. The party will also support Uhuru's presidential bid.
"The late George Saitoti was our preferred candidate but with his demise, the party now moves to Uhuru who was our option in case of Saitoti's absence," said PNU organising secretary Maina Kamanda.
