BARRACK Muluka will continue working for Prime Minister despite his resignation yesterday, Raila for President secretariat has said.
The head of the secretariat Eliud Owalo said they will retain Muluka as a special consultant and principal adviser on public communication and media relations.
Muluka worked as national director for communication at the secretariat since February this year. Owalo said Muluka “relinquished” his position on pre-negotiated understanding with the secretariat.
“Barrack has for sometime planned to undertake doctorate studies in politics and international relations. Accordingly, he is set to embark on this programme with the University of Leicester."
"We have accepted to allow him to pursue this scholarly mission, as well as other professional interests, elsewhere, beginning next week,” Owalo said. He said Muluka will remain a life member of the ODM.
