MUTAHI NGUNYI was right ….. Prof. SAITOTI may have been ASSASSINATED

Wednesday October 24, 2012 - New details emerged on the ongoing probe over the Saitoti chopper crash cementing political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi’s earlier assertions, that the late Prof George Saitoti’s death was politically motivated.

A lead pathologist on Tuesday claimed that all six people in Saitoti's chopper crash could have died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Dr Dorothy Njeru said she examined the bodies of the Ngong helicopter crash victims and found carbon monoxide concentration of above 30 percent.

Dr Njeru told the Kaplana led commission that it was difficult to say whether the crash was a normal aviation accident based on post mortem results.

The pathologist said the conclusion of carbon monoxide poisoning needed to be corroborated with other findings of other experts who participated in the investigation.

She told the commission that the investigations of June 10 crash that killed Internal Security Minister Prof George Saitoti had been hurried and disjointed.

“The Government pathologist never consulted with government chemist or police probing the case,” Njeru said.

This cements revelations by Mutahi Ngunyi in his editorial that Saitoti‘s death was politically motivated.
