Me and UHURU KENYATTA will form the next GOVERNMENT – William RUTO




Wednesday October 24, 2012 - United Republican Party (URP) Presidential hopeful William Ruto said he is united with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta for the sake of uniting Kenyans ahead of the forthcoming general election.

In a an exclusive interview with K24  radio presenter Jeff Koinange 0n Capital Talk, Ruto said he was confident that they will form the next government with Jomo’s son.

He said in order to heal the wounds created during the 2007-08 post election violence; communities must come together for peaceful co-existence.

The former Agriculture Minister said despite him and Uhuru having cases at the International Criminal Court (ICC), they will form the next government.

Ruto maintained he is innocent before The Hague based court, saying Kenyans know who started the post election violence where 1133 people died and over 650,000 people displaced.

When asked about whether they will run the government when they are at the ICC court, Ruto said they are able to serve on multiple occasions at the same time.

“We can run this government .We can walk up the stairs and chew gum at the same time" emphatic Ruto said.

The “Kalenjin Kingmaker” further vowed to ensure that no single drop of blood will be shed on the forthcoming general election, saying he will preach togetherness and peace till the last date of the election.
