DEPUTY Prime Minister, Uhuru Kenyatta, has dismissed the two-horse race to State House idea and said he will give Raila Odinga sleepless nights ahead of next year's general election.
Speaking on Saturday at the homecoming party of Internal Security minister Katoo ole Metito in Litoktok, Uhuru said The National Alliance is the party to beat in the elections.
He said TNA and like-minded parties aligned to G7 will form a formidable force as the country prepares for the March 2013 elections.
"There is no retreat, no surrender in our quest to take over leadership and turnaround the economy of this nation," added Kenyatta.
"TNA will provide leadership that will seek justice for all Kenyans. Our party is a national movement and has membership that cuts across the country unlike those based on tribal inclination towards their party leaders."
The DPM, who was accompanied by 23 MPs from Coast, North Eastern, Nyanza, Rift valley and Central province including 5 Cabinet inisters, said TNA will turn the tables on their opponents in the next general election.
"I am happy that I am riding on the believe that the people of Kenya have trusted me as their future president. I will never let them down as their servant. I as Uhuru and their leader will seek justice for all Kenyan regardless of their ethnicity," said Uhuru.
Uhuru is in talks with VP Kalonzo Musyoka, William Ruto of URP and Wamalwa of New Ford-Kenya in a bid to form an alliance that will block Raila from succeeding Kibaki.
The Cabinet ministers who attended Metito's homecoming party were, Yusuf Haji, Beth Mugo, Eugene Wamalwa, Naomi Shaaban and Amos Kimunya.
Defence assistant minister Joseph Nkaissery was in attendance as a friend of Metito and not an ally of TNA. The party was the biggest  in the area's history.
