OJODE’s mother receives a MAJOR BLOW………GREEDY brother behind SUIT

Thursday September 6, 2012 - The mother of late Internal Security Assistant Minister Orwa Ojode received a major blow on Wednesday, after she lost an attempt to stop parliament from paying any compensation to his widow Mary Ojode.

Ulda Oloo Ojode wanted temporarily orders blocking parliament from processing and paying any compensation but the court declined.

The 82 -year -old woman had filed an amended application in which she is seeking a share of the payment being processed by parliament.

The suit by Ojode’s mother came weeks after Ojode’s brother Samuel Owuondi wrote to the Speaker of the National Assembly seeking to stop payment saying the widow had refused to discuss with the family on inheritance and sharing of Ojode’s property.

He had asked parliament not to release any compensation to late’s Ojode wife until they resolve customary inheritance differences and Ojode’s estate management. It was believed that the brothers were the brains behind the suit but used the old woman to disguise it.

Ojode’s widow left all the rental collections from houses in Ndhiwa to take care of the old mother while she maintains the house in Runda and the pension settlement. The brothers however felt that she needed to cede more……and the drama continues
