Haiya!! Even PRINCIPALS steal exams……..

Thursday, September 06, 2012 - The ministry of Education has been requested to cancel the exam set for principals in Meru after irregularities were observed by the exam invigilators. Apparently the exam had been leaked and the school heads had answers at hand.

Julius Mbijiwe, KUPPET Secretary General in Meru requested the Ministry to set fresh examination. As the teacher’s strike mark day four, Mbijiwe advised all parents who had taken their children to schools to pick them as they will not back down the ongoing strike.

Teachers downed their tools on Monday as the third term started and have refused to call off the strike until their demands on salary increment by 300% are met.

They are also demanding for more teachers to be employed to reduce the heavy duty today’s teacher is facing. The teachers have declined to have negotiations with the government.
