Recently I have been watching political events unfold surrounding one great Kenyan son WSR! I tell you the truth that after serious analysis and follow up I have come to a conclusion that WSR and URP strategy is to target majority leader seat in parliament and not to go for the presidency.

Indeed I appreciate this wise consideration for if he continues to dream of presidency, then that will be tantamount to an ant climbing an elephant leg with a motive of rape-simply it is farfetched! But one thing I must appreciate and recognize is that WSR is a seasoned politician and indeed a central kingmaker come 2013! Save for the many troubles, problems and challenges that stand on the way of his political career currently!

Furthermore, every one WSR approaches to be running mate quickly refuses or turns down the offer! Why? Because WSR is not keen to be a president and anybody who will buy into being his running mate might go down with him into political oblivion. In conclusion Ruto seems to be targeting Parliamentary majority leader position and not the presidency! Convince me otherwise! Kitwek must be prepared for this eventuality!

WSR ultimately must be brave enough and disclose to the men and women of the land of Kitwek that he is going not for the presidency but parliamentary majority leader! Shall the land of Kitwek be satisfied with such a bargain? Will it be our worth? Will that match our numbers? Will our other allies from other nationalities and backgrounds follow URP and Ruto to such a destiny? Maswali yatakuwa mengi kuliko majibu (there will be more questions than answers)!

I have some advice to the Kalenjin nation, we need to look beyond the money, the lies, the sweet-talking, the false enticements coming from the men and women, like WSR, who pretend to be leaders and whose only motive is to acquire power in order to protect their ill-gotten wealth, perpetuate impunity, and continue enriching themselves with cronies.

How would we, Kenyans of sane mind, and equally informed for that matter, follow an individual who is facing crimes against humanity charges? Does it mean that there is no one else who can front the interests of the Kalenjin community out of all the sons and daughters in the political fraternity?
