Tuesday, 31/07/2012 - This Sunday, it was Tusker project Fame Season 5 finale. The highlight of the moment was the crowning of the 5 million shillings winner.
Two live performances were also expected to carry the day. Camp Mulla and Samuel Gitau aka MJ. Samuel started off the show and nailed it. The former TPF’s hopeful at the auditions stage had been brought back due to public demand.
From the start, it was clear that he could not sing. So, guys were waiting for his performance which turned out to be electrifying. MJ tirelessly danced and at one point did the moonwalk. He received several standing ovations.
On the other hand, Kenya’s biggest hip hop group was cited by social media users as a big flop. Their attires and hairstyles were hilarious and they did not thrill the crowd as much.18 year old Karun was cited as one of those following Mutula Kilonzo’s mini-skirt rule.
Their Facebook page was full of their fans who did not appreciate their performance.
