Ndhiwa ODM nominations marred by Anomalies

Those hoping to run on ODM party ticket in the Ndhiwa by-election are demanding that the nominations results be withheld amid confusion over the exercise. By 3am, tallying was yet to start at Ndhiwa Social Hall in the nominations which started amid confusion at 1pm on Monday. Candidates alleged that there were various anomalies and declaring a winner without looking into such would be unjust. Mr Martin Owino, Augustine Neto, Beatrice Ogola and Michael Agwanda called on ODM Headquarters to impress on the returning officer, Elias Kitom, to shelve the declaration of the winner until their grievances were heard and determined. They said if their requests were not addressed they would move to court to force the party into compliance.
