Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi on Monday told politicians to stop issuing comments which could deny the Ocampo Four a fair trial in the International Criminal Court.

In a statement that appeared to be directed at the Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Mr Mudavadi said those issuing inflammatory comments were doing injustice to Mr Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto, Francis Muthaura and Joshua Sang, who are facing criminal charges at the ICC.
Fair hearing
“This is a serious and weighty matter which should be left alone so that the suspects can be given a fair hearing,” he said when he addressed Kirinyaga County delegates at Roswam hotel in Kerugoya Town.
Mr Mudavadi said he would like to see a just judicial process free of any influence.
Mr Odinga was on Sunday reported to have said Mr Kenyatta and Mr Ruto should be in jail over crimes against humanity.
Mr Mudavadi dismissed as untrue rumours that he was planning to abandon ODM. “I’m in ODM and whatever is being rumoured is false,” he said.
