Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi has maintained he will fight to the end in his campaign to become the ODM flagbearer.
The Local Government minister, who is challenging Prime Minister Raila Odinga for the party’s ticket, said the nominations should be conducted at the county level to give the exercise credibility.
He said he was confident of carrying the day in the nominations if they are conducted in a free and transparent manner.
“I am determined to battle it out to the end and I need your prayers to win the tough contest ahead,” the Sabatia MP told mourners during the burial of Evan Ashibika at his home in Ekapwonje village, Kakamega County.
“I am ready to face opponents from rival parties and give ODM victory at the next poll,” said Mr Mudavadi.
