The ODM elections board starts a three-day meeting on Wednesday to scrutinize the list of officials picked during recent elections amid claims by Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi that there was a plot to alter it.
The board’s secretary Joseph Misoi on Tuesday confirmed that the board will meet up to Friday.
“It will also address all issues arising from the elections,” Dr Misoi stated.

He spoke as Mr Mudavadi’s camp insisted that only the list of delegates filed at the Registrar of Political Parties and deposited with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) should be used during ODM’s primaries to pick its presidential candidate.
In a statement, the DPM’s spokesman Kibisu Kabatesi said Mr Mudavadi will not accept any changes to the lists.
Mr Mudavadi, the statement said, supports an election method which “meets the requirements of the law, is cost-effective and devoid of mob and imposter infiltration.”
Dr Misoi declined to comment on the claims that the list might be altered.
