The anti-corruption agency says it is unable to trace an assistant minister being sought over corruption allegations.
As a result, the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission is now appealing to the public to help arrest Health Assistant minister James Gesami.
Anti-graft agency spokesman Nicholas Simani said on Friday its detectives had not been able to find Dr Gesami since last Friday.
Corruption charges
He said they had visited the minister’s Nairobi and rural homes but he was not there.
“The commission calls on the public or any law enforcement agency to assist in his apprehension,” said Mr Simani.
The agency wants to present him to a Kisumu court where he will face corruption charges. (READ:Prosecute minister for CDF fraud, says judge)
