ODM not shaken by UDM party

Share/Save/Bookmark Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba has said that ODM is not shaken by Eldoret North MP William Ruto’s UDM wave. He said the party is strong and putting its structures in place to ensure party leader Raila Odinga wins the 2012 presidential elections. “ODM is not a matatu where every Dick, Tom and Harry can walk in and out. We have elaborate structures which have to be respected," he said. "The party position to send 34 councillors from Rift Valley packing is final and ODM is not shaken by such machinations," he said.
The MP told Ruto to give the sacked councillors positions in UDM if he so wishes. Ababu made the remarks when he presided over a funds drive in aid of Angurai World Harvest Church where Sh217,000 was raised with the MP donating Sh100,000.
The MP also challenged those who have declared their interests to vie for governorship in the Busia County to go it slow and enumerate what they will do instead of engaging in witch-hunt.
