Share/Save/Bookmark Two employees of a firm which handles cash in transit and which was a couple of years ago in the news for the lose of millions of shillings in dramatic bank heists are reportedly living it large. The two, who resigned following the public furore caused by the thefts, are said to have made purchases of houses along Mombasa Road and fleets of lorries for a transport business. Three weeks ago one of the former employees was spotted in Kitengela where he is reportedly negotiating the purchase of a 20-acre piece of land. The two former employees are close drinking buddies.

Two directors of a city based bank were summoned by the Criminal Investigation Department who are investigating the alleged fraudulent sale of a property belonging to a former Lamu MP estimated to be worth Sh300 million. The CID are reportedly trying to establish whether the two were involved in producing the documents that led to the fraudulent sale of the property which is situated in Nairobi.

The frequent and unexplained absence of a top administrator in Nyanza from his office has set tongues wagging. The man, whose meteoric rise was subject of speculation, is known to be a harsh taskmaster and always criticizes his subordinates whenever they are absent or late. They are complaining that the man only attends to a few selected people when he does appear in the office.

The behaviour of a top administrator at the New Nyanza Provincial Hospital has appalled many of the staff who are at a loss about who to complain to. The administrator’s high handedness has put her at loggerheads with the staff and whenever they complain, she brushes them off telling them there is nowhere they can take her. Reason? She is a close relative of a senior Cabinet minister!
