TWENTY six Ford Kenya officials in Nyanza have defected to New Ford-Kenya party. The branch officials from Rangwe, Kisumu Town West, Alego Usonga, Kisumu Rural, Nyakach, Muhoroni, Rarieda and Bondo led by regional coordinator chairman Audi Ogada said they have opted out of the party due to its fading popularity in its perceived stronghold.The branch officials however said they are considering moving to the party splinter group New Ford Kenya since it’s has hopes of sustainability ahead of 2012 are fading. Addressing the press in Kisumu, the former Ford Kenya officials said they have sent their resignation letters to the Registrar of Political Parties.
