By Rawlings OtienoYouths have demanded immediate resignation of the Ocampo suspects and vowed to throw out leaders who fuel ethnicity, tribalism and hatred.
National Youth Forum leaders said it is unconstitutional for the post-election violence suspects to continue holding public office.
National chairperson Caroline Ruto said those facing the charges should not be treated like heroes.
"It is a shame our youths are being used by the suspects to seek sympathy," said Caroline, adding that the ICC process was a welcome move.
"We will pressurise them to step aside," she added.
She decried the slow pace of reforms, saying leaders had abandoned the core mandate of development agenda to focus on the Ocampo Six.
She said the movement has been monitoring all hate speeches uttered by the politicians and warned they will mobilise youth across the country to shun such leaders.
Catherine Omanyo, the National Secretary-General, said it was hypocritical for the suspects to hold rallies in the name prayer yet IDPs are still languishing in camps.
"The ‘Ocampo Six ‘must resign first and once cleared, they can take up the positions again," said Omanyo.
She said leaders should preach peace and avoid manipulating people’s emotions in seeking sympathy.
"We need youthful leaders with new ideas, new vision and integrity," added Omanyo. The duo was speaking during a press conference held in Nairobi.
The ‘Ocampo Six’ are suspected to bear the greatest responsibility for post-election skirmishes with killed more than 1,000 Kenyans. More than 300,000 were displaced.
They made their initial appearance before the International Criminal Court at The hague last week, following a summon by the judges.
