A lawyer representing one of the Ocampo Six suspects was nearly dropped at the last minute. The politician picked two local lawyers to team up with international barristers. But the two local lawyers differed over personal issues, and the one considered closer to the politician purported to fire the second lawyer. It took the intervention of the politician for the lawyer to be reinstated. The "fired" lawyer has finally arrived at The Hague ready for business.
