Land Reforms

Still on constitution matters, parliament faces a tough task ahead as it prepares to enact legislations the will operationalize the land chapter which was one of the controversial issues in the referendum campaigns. And one of the key decisions that parliament must make is prescribing the minimum and maximum land acreage in respect of private land. Professionals in land sector are already deliberating on the likely impact of the land chapter, and preparing proposals to make the new land reforms a reality. Chris Thairu reports.
