The new constitution is just awaiting promulgation by President Mwai Kibaki, in an elaborate public ceremony to be held on 20th august. But expectations from Kenyans are high, that the new law will herald a new beginning and correct all the past wrongs in the country's governance. But how soon will the real effects of a new constitution be felt? Francis Gachuri reports.
