Yes Campaigns

Proponents of the proposed constitution intensified their yes campaigns ahead of the august 4threferendum. Vice president Kalonzo Musyoka asked Kenyans to ignore those propagating falsehoods on the proposed constitution, through misinterpretation of various clauses. Kalonzo who was campaigning for the proposed constitution in lower eastern region stated that Kenyans should read and understand the proposed law so as to make informed choices come the referendum. Meanwhile Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and a host of mps in western region told retired President Moi to keep off the politics saying in 24 years he had failed to give Kenyans a new constitution.
