Knowledge must come so that wisdom may linger ... That seems to be the rallying call among politicians as the official campaign period for the forthcoming constitution referendum sets upon us. But watching politicians campaign during the unofficial campaign period in the name of civic education one couldn't help but wonder whether Kenyans are now more knowledgeable or confused courtesy of our politicians. With the referendum slightly over a fortnight away, we look at a week that has seen the most unlikely characters dig in to the campaigns in order to steal the thunder from opponents, all in the name of revealing the truth to you the voter.
