No camp reaches out to Machakos residents

A group of televangelists took their no campaign to Machakos Sunday saying victory was with those who opposed the proposed new constitution.

The televangelists who were joined by retired president Denial arap Moi and several politicians allied to no camp took issues with clauses on abortion and the Kadhis' courts in the document.

They termed the proposed constitution alien to the needs of Kenyans.

The televangelists including assisant minister Margaret Wanjiru are trasversing the country in a bid to woo Kenyans to reject the proposed constitution.

Their Nairobi meeting last month however ended tragically when six people were killed in blasts whose cause remains unknown.
