CONFLICTS

Higher education minister William Ruto has once again claimed that the contentious issues in the proposed constitution would bring conflicts between the state and the church.

Speaking during a prayer service at Kisima cha Neema Church in Mombasa Ruto called on Kenyans to reject the draft adding that article 27 of the proposed constitution would allow homosexuality in the country.

Ruto was accompanied by suspended assistant minister Wilfred Machage, MP Charles Keter, and three former MPs from coast province.
