Stephen Curry is the NBA's reigning Most Valuable Player and appears well on his way to repeating that honor. The fire-balling guard is averaging a league high 29.8 points per game on 50.8 percent shooting to go with 6.6 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game as his Golden State Warriors ransack the NBA to a 48-4 record that has left them on pace to best the Chicago Bulls' best of all-time mark of 72-10. Not only is Curry dominating the league, but his ebullient on court demeanor and relatively small stature have made him a relatable everyman of sorts to NBA fans league-wide. Adults and children alike are transfixed by his play in a manner rarely seen in NBA history, with many of the latter calling Curry their favorite player. ...

Curry may not hold that distinction for Kobe Bryant's daughters, but the two did have their legendary dad take a picture of them with the current toast of the league after his final All-Star game on Sunday night:

One of the most fun parts of Kobe's farewell tour has been getting to see the notorious workaholic just take time to enjoy the trappings of being an NBA player during his final trek around the league, with his family often present at home and away games. While the Lakers season has not been a success on the court, moments like this (in tandem with the development of the team's young core) has made it worth following along during an otherwise down year.
