Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel has a fan in the NBA and it’s not his buddy LeBron James.
Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers used part of his press conference following the Clippers win against the Charlotte Bobcats, to reflect on watching Manziel and Texas A&M defeat Duke in the Chick-fil-A bowl on New Year’s Eve.
Manziel helped the Aggies overcome 38-17 halftime deficit to win 52-48.
“I’ve never watched a college player, honestly, more in my life, in one year. I don’t care what he does next year, I just want to see him play. Go back to college and play, go to the pros — I just want to see him play. He’s fun to watch.”

Manziel has yet to announce his future plans. Many expect him to declare for the NFL draft since he’s projected to be a first-round pick, but Manziel has maintained that he’s still weighing his options.
There’s no doubt where Manziel plays he’s a must watch for any football fan.
