According to a report appearing in Mwakilishi News Media, a Diaspora online news site, Morgan Njoroge, 21 and a group of about 10 Kenyan youths left Tacoma on Saturday morning for what was to be a fun filled getaway in Ocean Shores- a popular beach destination.

They panicked and called for help leading to a search led by the Ocean Shores police, the Coast Guard and rescue volunteers.
The search was hampered by high tides that caused the search to be suspended until 3am when it resumed.
Morgan's body was recovered shortly after 5 am Monday Morning and moved to County Morgue for a post mortem.
Meanwhile,  another 21-year-old Kenyan was shotand killed Saturday night on Eighth Avenue in the city's west side, according to the Lehigh County coroner's office.

The shooting was reported near Eighth Avenue and West Union Boulevard — close to the Rose Garden.
Authorities released no details. Bethlehem police said only that officers were called to 744 Eighth Ave. at 10:18 p.m. Saturday.
Neighbor Theresa Rivera said Juma lived there with his girlfriend, Jasmine Brown, and their 2-year-old son.
"He was a very caring, loving father, who was very good to her," said Rivera, who works with Brown. Rivera said she received a text message from Brown early Sunday morning: "I won't be in to work tomorrow, Ian was killed."
