Accept Defeat And Move On, Kikuyu Elders To Raila

Members of the Kikuyu council of elders have urged former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to accept defeat and understand that every contest has a winner and a loser.

Speaking in Murang’a County the elders from Murang’a County have asked the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader to respect the Jubilee Government and stop polarizing the country.
The leaders asked Raila to gracefully accept defeat just as Jubilee did in the recent Makueni by-election where CORD’s Mutula Kilonzo Junior won.
The Group Secretary Engineer Samuel Ngethe urged President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto not to be deterred by utterances made by their rivals.
Ngethe asked the Jubilee leaders to continue seeking divine intervention so as to lead the country to prosperity.
The leaders also appealed to Kenyans everywhere to maintain peace and beware of some people out to disrupt the God given peace in Kenya.
The elders also congratulated Mutula Kilonzo Junior for winning the Makueni by-election saying he won fairly.
The elders admonished the CORD leaders saying that for them free and fair elections only take place when they win,  which should not be the case.
